Mother Nature has reared her summer-time head with more than 5 hours of delays for thunderstorms. Play was halted twice on Friday, with the final group completing play at 8:30 p.m. Lightning and heavy rain causes almost a two-hour delay in the second round, with the final group finishing near 7:30 p.m. The winner Sunday will earn custody of the E.B. Gee Trophy and be the 95th ASGA State Amateur Champion. In the first ever mid-senior division, John Siratt of Donaldson, leads at 143 after rounds of 69 and 74. Todd Martin of Cabot and Rodger Bates of Hot Springs trail by three strokes at 146. Keep your fingers crossed for no weather delays in Sunday's final round!
